My name is Mathew Kemper Gaines. I am the Broker of Gaines Land Sales. I’m a proud Texan. In the 1860’s my kin folks settled here in Central Texas. I went to school here in Coleman and spent most of my life here in Coleman County. After high school, I later received an architectural drafting degree. I believed I was bound for city living because most of my classmates left town to find work in the city. Thankfully the lure of smalltown living won me over. Ranching, hunting and fishing with grandparents was simply too much to resist. Being able to see the Milky Way and hear the coyotes almost any night never gets old.

In 1999 I chose a career in ranch real estate where I get to help people and share my passion of the “The Great Outdoors”. I am a full-time real estate broker and proudly the 3rd generation in my family to offer real estate services in Central and Central West Texas. During the work week my only focus is dedicated to helping farmers and ranchers connect with buyers. So sadly, I do not list real estate inside city limits. Today with 24 years of experience and over 43,000 acres sold, you can rest assured that Gaines Land Sales will be there to assist you.
